Trail overview

You can’t go to Goa and not try out some unique and yummy local food. While there’s a lot of info on seafood restaurants and high-end resorts, street food joints are usually missed out or hard to find on maps. Here’s a trail of the various of Brian’s favourite joints including food-trucks and carts. Get ready for guaranteed lip-smacking enjoyment.

Places to see on route.

The trail starts from Panjim and takes you towards the North via Saligao, Anjuna, Assagao and Siolim. Saligao is known for the Mãe de Deus Parish Church built in 1873. The Anjuna beach is popular for its hippie lifestyle while the nearby flea market is a great place to shop. Assagao, also known as the land of flowers is a beautiful area situated close to Mapusa but surrounded by greenery. Live Happy organises heritage walks around the area, highly recommended.
