Trail overview
Goa is known for its beaches and yummy seafood, but there’s more than you can think of. This trail takes you through Old Goa and explores the chapels there. It also takes you to the beautiful Chorao and Divar islands.
The Ponte de Linhares causeway connecting Panjim and Old Goa is said to have been the longest in the world at 3.2 km (2.0 mi) when it was completed in 1634

Places to see on route.
The trail starts from Panjim and takes you to Old Goa along the banks of the Mandovi river. The Salim Ali Bird sanctuary is close by and is at the Chorao island.
