Trail Tip

Places to see on route.

The trail starts from Siolim and passes through the village of Para, to the busy streets of Mapusa city, winding village roads, ferry rides and a short section of the highway.

St Anthony’s bakery is a good breakfast point. Get your morning fix here. Simonia and Mr Baker are nice cafes to grab refreshments and to take a break along the way.

Details of the places are on the trail. (link above)

Extend this Trail.

You can extend this trail to the south by two ways One is via Santa Cruz, that helps you escape the Panjim traffic and the current construction of the bridge.

The other way is to ride through Goa Velha cutting-off the long boring highway. On this route you get to see Indo-Portuguese houses, Roadside Goan sausage makers (they also serve them at stalls) and lots of other traditional Goan aspects that the hinterland trail will show you.
